The Radiation Miasm and Its Impact on Health

"It is essential that holistic health practitioners understand the profound impact miasms have on chronic diseases. What usually happens today is that the client is treated with natural remedies, yet the underlying miasmatic problems are not even considered or examined. The overt symptoms are treated, but the underlying cause is not confronted. Effectively treating the miasms is essential if the holistic health movement is to reach its full potential of restoring people to health in mind, body and spirit. There are now three new inherited miasms: the radiation, petrochemical and the heavy metal miasm." 1 I would add a fourth: the drug miasm, which includes prescription and recreational drugs.

What is a Miasm? A miasm can be understood as a vibrational blueprint of something – a chemical, a drug, or radiation, for example. Everything that exists on the physical level has a vibrational blueprint of itself – a template of information that allows it to come into its unique physical form properly. These blueprints can become lodged in a person’s field of being in two ways. They can be inherited from a parent, or acquired via exposure to a specific substance. For example, if someone takes Amoxicillin for a sinus infection, they can potentially acquire an antibiotic/prescription drug miasm.

In times of stress, particularly prolonged stress, miasms can precipitate the onset of an illness or exacerbate a preexisting condition. The nature of the illness that manifests depends on the nature of the miasm. For example, the DDT miasm (pesticide/chemical miasm) frequently contributes to hormone imbalances in both women and men because DDT is a powerful estrogenic substance.

The Radiation Miasm
The radiation miasm is currently one of the most common miasms. There has been a phenomenal increase in low-level radiation on earth since World War II. Contributing factors include the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, post-war nuclear weapons testing, uranium mining, and nuclear power plant accidents. The Fukushima power plant disaster in Japan continues to significantly increase this background radiation. This escalating low-level radiation will tend to have an exacerbating effect on untreated radiation miasms.

If we know how ionizing radiation affects the body, then we begin to understand how radiation miasms can affect the body. The most radiation-sensitive cells of the body are white blood cells that are a vital component of the immune system. The radiation miasm can, therefore, contribute to immune system weaknesses such as allergies and frequent colds. It can also contribute to the development of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Type I diabetes and multiple sclerosis.

Other particularly radiation-sensitive tissues (with examples of common resulting conditions in parentheses) include:

• the ovaries and testicles (infertility, menstrual disorders, ovarian and testicular cancer) bone marrow cells (chronic anemia, lymphomas, leukemia)
• cells lining the digestive tract (leaky gut syndrome, low stomach acid, indigestion, ulcerative colitis)
• skin (rosaceae, lupus, skin cancers)
• muscles and connective tissue (fibromyalgia, arthritis, back pain)

"The radiation miasm contributes to premature aging, deterioration of the endocrine system (hypothyroidism, poor blood sugar regulation, adrenal fatigue), weakening of bone tissues (osteoporosis), anemia, hair loss, cataracts, deterioration of the muscular system, and cancer, especially leukemia and skin cancer. Loss of skin elasticity can occur (scleroderma). Individuals are furthermore subject to hardening of the arteries and the full spectrum of heart diseases." 1

Miasm Treatment
Since miasms are vibrational in nature, a vibrational therapy must be used in order to clear them from a person’s field of being. Homeopathy, gem elixirs and flower essences – if properly prescribed – can be easily and effectively employed to this end. Here’s a testimonial from David Boone of Brinnon. "Years ago I was loading the car to begin a return trip home from visiting family in Illinois. I picked up a suitcase and was immediately incapacitated with over-the-top back pain.
