Doctors at the Heart of WellbeingDr. Mary Clement, NDDr. Mary Clement is pleased to announce that she has joined the Uptown Center for Natural Medicine in Port Townsend, taking over the primary care practice of Dr. Forrest Beck. Dr. Clement has practiced naturopathic medicine since 1991 after graduating from Bastyr University in Seattle and still has a part-time practice in Gig Harbor. Dr. Clement brings valuable experience in many areas of primary care especially her work with environmental and food allergy desensitization in which she has developed her own efficacious energetic method of treatment and elimination. She also treats acute and chronic pain with energetic spinal adjustments, cold-laser and homeopathic remedies which she has personally formulated. More and more of Dr. Clement’s female patients are requiring hormone balancing and thyroid support in which she prescribes bio-identical hormones as well as homeopathic and nutritional support. She also addresses cellular anti-aging including anti-oxidant therapy with her patients. A particular area of interest is heavy metal detoxification in which, Dr. Clement has focused many years of continuing education. She works closely with Dr. Frank Kitamoto, a biological dentist in Bainbridge Island, with whom she does heavy metal desensitization pre-amalgam removal and heavy metal chelation post-amalgam removal for his patients. It was a natural step for Dr. Clement to prescribe the hCG diet where she particularly emphasizes how to maintain weight loss with information from her class on the Glycemic Index. Dr. Clement has always helped her patients through the years to make necessary changes needed to lose and maintain weight loss through nutrition and exercise; however, with the hCG diet, she supports more than weight loss, she supports transformation. Dr. Clement welcomes new patients to her new practice in Port Townsend and her existing practice in Gig Harbor, offering a choice of locations for excellent naturopathic care. Artemis Celt, NDArtemis Celt has had a naturopathic practice for 25 years. She is an experienced homeopath, herbalist, intuitive, and interpreter of dreams. Over the course of working with people, Dr. Celt began to understand that physical illness is often the end point manifestation of non-physical problems that go undetected – and therefore untreated – for years or even decades. In these cases, if the non-physical problems aren’t properly addressed, true healing cannot occur, no matter how many physical level treatment avenues are pursued. Dr. Celt currently specializes in the identification and treatment of common non-physical causes of illness, while continuing to utilize her extensive knowledge base from years as a primary care physician. She has become skilled in the treatment of chemical, radiation, drug, vaccine and heavy metal miasms that are common causes of chronic illness in adults and children. You might consider consulting with Dr. Celt for any number of reasons, including: You have tried physical modalities of healing (diet, supplements, lifestyle changes, prescription medications, etc.) and one or more health challenges persist:
