Equine Communication

I feel so grateful to not only live in our beautiful Port Townsend but to have a life that includes a fulfilling partnership with our noble equines. Through my twenty years working with horses, they have taught me so much. The equines, showing me the truth have prompted me to change my way of being, so that I can live in harmony with horse and all creatures.

Now, I value my relationships more than ever and practice with horses. I want to give back to them at least some of the integrity and well being that they have offered me. My work is to allow others to experience the gifts I have received from making an effort to learn their language, read their subtle signs and listen to the message of Spirit through the horse.

In my one to two hour sessions, you have the time to connect with a horse. I teach people how to be with the horses and how to be around horses. For many people, the emotional capacity of horses and the connection that can happen becomes a mirror of our stuck places. As you learn to move with the horse, you move out of the places, it’s beautiful and transformative. By using body language and closely looking at our intentions, we learn about establishing a trusting relationship. It also exercises about ability to create space and set boundaries; this can be a humbling and gratifying experience – as we practice yielding to the horse.

If you are interested in this work, I invite you to come and meet the three horses I would like to share with you. On site is a fully enclosed riding arena, and trails nearby for riders.
